Crafted from leather and featuring innovative metal-free adjustable straps, the style naturally biodegrades at the end of its natural life should you want it to, reducing the waste that lives on landfills.

The Return to Nature collection is created to never end up in landfill, instead it will biodegrade, compost and return to the earth at the end of its useful life nourishing the soil in the process. Responding to our climate crisis, and inspired by a quote from environmentalist Arizona Muse, the project is the result of two years of research and innovation.

This specially tanned leather is a natural product and as such any imperfections are considered natural features of this material. The leather will age in its own unique way. To keep it protected from rain spots and water marks, and to feed and enhance the leather, it needs a little more love than other leathers: please use our specially developed Chambers Wax included with the pouch to protect the leather and also to soften any day-to-day scratches or marks.

The leather used in the Return to Nature collection uses a pioneering tanning and finishing method, developed with Nera Tanning and Richard Hoffmans (est. 1899), resulting in a product that is chrome, heavy-metal and aldehyde-free – and thus if desired, can biodegrade at end of its life. The skins are sourced from Scan-Hide Swedish farms with some of the highest standards of animal welfare.

If you decide to return, please send it to us within 14 days. Gifts ordered between the 1st November 2021 and 25th December 2021 can be returned up until the 9th January 2022. See our returns page for more information.
